Moved by the extraordinary life of St. Francis of Assisi while on a retreat in Assisi, Italy, I grew close to this particular saint. My close friend’s brother also shares a fondness for St. Francis, which was discovered while packing him for a semester abroad in Mexico. Due to our bond, I felt called to create this design of St. Francis’s Tau Cross in order to keep him safe. Turquoise is thought to protect one amongst travels, while three is symbolic of the Trinity. This pendant will “protect” you at a “cross” in the road of life.
